The Parkland swim teams both finished second at the Cedar Crest Classic, held Jan. 31 at Parkland High School.

In the girls meet, Parkland took second place to Upper Dublin as the two teams finished far in front of the rest of the pack at the event. Upper Dublin finished with 705.5 points, while Parkland scored 603. Emmaus was third with 247.

Parkland opened the meet with a first-place finish in the girls 200 medley relay with the foursome of Baylee Kish, Kelsey McPeek, Milla Hahn and Sydney LaBaugh.

McPeek (breaststroke), LaBaugh (100 freestyle) and Hahn (individual medley) all won an individual event at the meet.

The boys meet had similar results with two teams, Emmaus (527.5) and Parkland (452.5), battling for the top team score and Upper Dublin (273) a distant third.

The Trojan boys team won its first race as Quinn Conway, Ethan Coleman, Thomas Price and Dominic Faenza took first place in the medley relay.

Price followed that with wins in two individual events, taking first place in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events. Coleman won the individual medley, while Faenza was the first-place finisher in butterfly.
