The Emmaus Chorale is seeking additional voices for its spring concert, “Shalom.” Weekly rehearsals begin 7 p.m. March 2 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. Second St., Emmaus and will culminate in a public concert there 3 p.m. June 7.
All voice parts are welcome, particularly low voices. This non-auditioned community choir is based in Emmaus and is open to participants throughout the Lehigh Valley.
The Emmaus Chorale, led by director Donald Ryan, will present a varied choral spring concert on the theme of “Shalom” meaning peace. Works by Dolly Parton, Moses Hogan, John Rutter, Maurice Duruflé and others, along with selections from “Wicked” and “West Side Story” will be performed.
