Sandra A. Zavecz, 79, of Emmaus, died peacefully Feb. 8, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Steven Zavecz. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Rose (Fehr) Sell.
She was a devoted and loving mother, known for her kindness, generosity and the great heart she shared with everyone she met.
She was a proud resident of Emmaus for 57 years.
She worked in the dietary department at the former Allentown Hospital and also worked in the laundry department at HCSC.
She and her husband were members of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, where their shared faith was an important part of their lives.
She had a deep love for animals and was a devoted supporter of the World Wildlife Fund.
She is survived by her son, Scott K.; daughter, Tammy M.; grandchildren, Jose A. Torres Jr. and Kendra R. Wade.
She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Sell.
Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, handled the arrangements.
