Ronald Lee Hottenstein

of Salisbury Township

Ronald Lee Hottenstein, 83, of Salisbury Township, died peacefully at his home Feb. 15, 2026, with his family by his side. He was the husband of Gail L. (Kline) Hottenstein and would have celebrated 63 years of marriage together in March. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Warren J. and Mabel (Longenbach) Hottenstein.

After graduating from high school, he began his lifelong career as a sheet metal mechanic with the former Allentown Sheet Metal and Roofing. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 19 and took great pride in his work and the friendships he built along the way.

He carried with him the values of hard work, loyalty and dedication throughout his life.

He truly loved the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing or simply enjoying nature, he found peace outside. He treasured family gatherings and trips to his nephew’s cabin.

Above all else, Ronald was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Tammy Speck and her wife, Suzann, Wendy Venema and her husband, David, Shenon Fragnito and her husband, Josef; grandchildren, Zachary, Alicia, Savannah, Ashley, Gideon, Quinn, Aidan; seven great-grandchildren; brother, John and his wife, Barbara; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Warren; sisters, Frieda, Dawn, Anna Mae.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
