Gloria E. (Diehl) Simock, 87, of Neffs, died Feb. 10, 2026, at Heather Glen Senior Living, Allentown. She was the wife of John F. Simock, to whom she was married 67 years. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur O. and Rachel A. (Kern) Diehl.

A graduate of the Bethlehem Business School with a degree in business administration, she was the secretary/office manager of John F. Simock, Inc. in Neffs for 35 years before retiring in 1999. She previously worked at the former Motors Insurance Corp. in Allentown for several years.

Active in the life of her church, she was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where she sang with the choir for 30 years, was Sunday School pianist for 25 years and treasurer of the Helping Hands of the congregation. She also was a pianist and assistant organist for the adult Sunday school for many years.

She formerly served as secretary of the Neffs Volunteer Fire Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa K. Reitz (Michael Gremling), of New Jersey; son, Richard J. “Rick” (Caroline), of Neffs; brother, Len B. Diehl (Jayne), of New Jersey; grandsons, Scott (Carlie), Jason (Lindsay), Jarrod Reitz; great-grandchildren, Haven Marie Reitz, Alvey Richard, Ziggy River, Aria Allison, Maverick Theodore; niece, Jenn Stover; great-nieces, Whitney, Kendall, Mariah Stover.
