LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Fullerton: Church extends charity drive

Because of the recent snowstorms and bitter cold weather, St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., has extended the canned soup drive for Souper Bowl of Caring to Feb. 22.

The goal is to receive 250 cans of soup for the soup pantry. Any other food donations, as well as monetary donations, are always welcome.

Please bring your cans of soup, and place them on the shelves in the coatroom next to the sanctuary.

Whitehall Active Community Center will hold bingo Feb. 22. Doors open noon, and cash bingo starts 1 p.m.

Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game and more. There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a donation of a nonperishable food item, pet food or paper product (facial tissues, paper towels or toilet paper) for Whitehall Food Pantry and receive a strip of specials to be played on the first four specials.

Reserving a seat is not necessary, but if you wish to do so, call or text 610-533-1357.
