Liberty and Freedom’s boys swim teams fought to the finish in their last regular season meet, but it was the Hurricanes who came out on top,111-73.

In individual events, winners were Liberty’s Adam Barlow in the 200 freestyle (1:53.38), Liberty’s Darren Nguyen in the 200 IM (2:07.79), and Liberty’s John Cornish in the 50 free (23.04).

Freedom’s Cody Smith won the diving event (348.50), and Liberty’s Everett Collins placed second (199.55).

Barlow took first place in the 100 butterfly (51.94), and Cornish raced to first in the 100 free (51.76).

Freedom’s Griffin Kleinle won the 500 free (5:05.83).

Liberty’s Jonah Korpics placed first in the 100 backstroke (58.75), and Nguyen won the 100 breaststroke (1:07.40).

Freedom won the first relay with Jack Amato, Ben Rader, Cristian Urena, Joseph Volkert in the 200 medley (1:49.42).

Liberty’s Barlow, Nguyen, Theodore Shang, and Cornish took first place in the 200 free (1:32.91), and the 400 free was won by Barlow, Nguyen, Shang, and Nolan Malozi (3:30.61).
