Knights of Columbus host bingo fundraiser

The St. Ann Knights of Columbus hosts a bingo open to the public on the first Wednesday of every month September through May in the St. Ann School cafeteria, 435 S. Sixth St., Emmaus.

Doors open 6 p.m. and bingo games begin 7 p.m. Refreshments are provided and include a variety of homemade desserts, assorted sodas, coffee, tea and water.

The ticket consists of 20 games including a progressive jackpot. There was no winner at the Feb. 4 bingo event so this money will be added to the jackpot March 4.

Also, beginning in March, a full dinner is also provided and included in the cost.

The St. Ann Knights of Columbus have been hosting the bingo fundraisers since 2007.

Money raised is used to provide scholarships to eighth grade students going to Allentown Central Catholic as well as high school students attending college.

A donation of $250 was also made to Special Olympics.

In addition to the Knights’ fundraiser, the St. Ann Women’s Alliance will host its Spring Gift Card Bingo in the school gymnasium April 19 for individuals 16 years and older.
