Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, holds a free food distribution 2-4 p.m. for East Penn School District residents. Also Feb. 25. Signs will be posted with directions for parking and pickup.

Feb. 14
Wildlands Conservancy will offer “Snowshoe with Your Sweetheart!”1-3 p.m. at Trexler Nature Preserve – Packhouse Road parking area, 5375 Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart on a snowshoe trek through a winter wonderland. Participants will explore snowy trails, learn the art of animal tracking and discover signs of wildlife. If there is no snow, this program will be a guided walk with the same animal tracking theme. The event is free. Registration is required. Love is in the air at the Emmaus Historical Society Museum in a visiting display of vintage Valentines on loan from Katrina Wieand. Hallmark has nothing on these beauties! Visit the museum 10 a.m. to noon when this collection is unveiled and Wieand shares the history and the stories behind many of her collected Valentine treasures from years past.
Feb. 15
Boy Scout Troop 80 will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the St. Ann School cafeteria, 435 S. Sixth, Emmaus. Emmaus Rotary hosts its “Over the Moon” dance fundraiser 3-6 p.m. at Triple Sun Spirits, 518 Bank St., Emmaus. There is a cost. Funds raised will benefit the East Penn Food Coalition. Feb. 19
The Emmaus Historical Society invites the public to the first program of 2026 titled “The Allentown Fairgrounds History and Current Day Happenings” presented by Kelly Butterbaugh (author) and Daryl Urmy (Lehigh County Agricultural Society president). Join the society as they walk through the past history of the fairgrounds established at 17th and Chew streets in 1889. This history will be brought to life through the Lehigh County Agricultural Society and longtime fair participants. Please note that due to Lent, the program will be held on the third Thursday of the month in February. The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served after the program.

Wildlands Conservancy will offer the program “Winter Birding Walk” 1-3 p.m. at Trexler Nature Preserve – Environmental Education Center, 4935 Orchard Road, Schnecksville. Whether you’re new to bird-watching or looking to sharpen your skills, this guided walk will introduce you to the hardy species in the region during the colder months. Learn how to identify birds by sight and sound, use field guides effectively and understand winter bird behavior. The event is free. Register online through the Wildlands Conservancy website.
Feb. 22-28
The East Penn Chamber of Commerce and Emmaus Main Street Partners host East Penn Restaurant Week. The event is designed to spotlight local eateries and traditionally includes menu and drink specials and promotions at participating businesses. Participating restaurants so far include East Penn Diner, McDonald’s of Emmaus, Café 23 and Drizzle Ice Cream, according to organizers. The East Penn area includes the boroughs of Emmaus, Macungie and Alburtis and Lower Macungie and Upper Milford townships. Feb. 28
Wildlands Conservancy will host a free Get Out! For Wellness walk at South Mountain 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will meet at 28th Street SW, Allentown. The route will take hikers through two natural areas: the Robert Rodale Reserve – designated a state significant area – and Wildlands Conservancy’s 440-acre South Mountain Preserve. Participants who prefer a shorter outing are welcome. Register online through the Wildlands Conservancy website.

The 31st annual Spring Sportsmen’s Flea Market is scheduled 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alburtis Area Community Center, 220 W. Second St., Alburtis. The event will feature new and used fishing, hunting and trapping equipment as well as collectibles. There is a cost for admission and proceeds benefit Alburtis Boy Scout Troop 86. The Emmaus Public Library will host its sixth annual Tee Time at the Library event at the library, 11 E. Main St., Emmaus. Participants will play 18 holes of miniature golf in the library stacks. An exclusive event for those 21 years and older will be held 6-9 p.m. March 6 and feature light refreshments, including one adult beverage as well as live music. A family-friendly event will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 7. Children 4 years and younger will play free. There is a cost for tickets. Iconic movie music and the best of Broadway is the theme for the music program presented by The Allentown Music Club 2:30 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown. Performers include Santa Peters, piano; Jeanne Harakal, soprano; Andy Harakal, accordion; Monika Short, soprano; Robert Torres, tenor; Justin Rabe, guest guitar and baritone and The Asbury Trio featuring Jonathan Beitler, piano; John Lucas, drums and Bob Nickelwicz, bass. Admissions is free and all are welcome.
The Ladies Aid Society of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church will hold an indoor yard sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations of items will be accepted 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 6. Donations of baked good items for the day of the event are also welcome.
The Emmaus Arts Commission presents the Snow Blast Winter Arts Festival noon-4 p.m. at Juxtahub, 375 S. 10th St., Emmaus. The event will include artisan booths, food trucks, artists demonstrations, kids activities and more.
March 15
Emmaus Main Street Partners and The Emmaus Historical Society host Lucky Bucks Bingo 2-5 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus. Tickets are available through the website lehighvalleychamber.org/events or at the Emmaus Historical Society, 218 Main St., Emmaus.

Woman’s Club of Emmaus hosts its annual Girls of the Month Celebration honoring eight outstanding Emmaus High School senior girls 6 p.m. at the high school, 500 Macungie Ave. The event will be held in the school cafeteria. All are welcome to attend and learn about the accomplishments of these students. The Woman’s Club of Emmaus has been honoring Emmaus High School senior girls since 1953.
