The township land and environmental protection board’s next meeting is set for 7 p.m. March 9 at the municipal building. The board has successfully preserved countless acres of farmland and open space within the township.

Moore Township police have issued a scam alert. Do not send money via Bitcoin, Cash App or PayPal because of a phone call. The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office does not serve warrants or collect fines or any payments over the phone.

If you are threatened with arrest over the phone, hang up immediately. It’s a scam.

The Community Days committee is being absorbed into the township’s recreation committee and seeks additional members. The recreation committee is planning the 2026 Moore Township Community Days.
