Lehigh Township: Fire department to hold rose sale

Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company is holding its annual Valentine’s Day rose sale 8 a.m.-8 p.m., or until sold out, Feb. 12-14 at the banquet hall, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville. Choose from pastel roses, classic reds or red and white bouquets.

Chocolate-covered strawberries will also be back again this year!

St. Nicholas Catholic Church Knights of Columbus will be holding an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Feb. 15 in the social hall of the church, 1152 Oak Road. Come out to enjoy made-to-order omelets, pancakes, sausage, home fries, bacon, scrambled eggs, creamed chip beef, ham, toast, coffee, tea and juice.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the parish and Coats for Kids.

Lehigh Township Historical Society will hold its 22nd annual Finally Spring basket social noon-3 p.m. April 12 at Blue Mountain Fish and Game Association, 4190 Wood Drive, Walnutport. Drawings begin 3:15 p.m., and you do not need to be present to win.

There will be a bake sale, and the kitchen will be open.

Proceeds benefit the Lehigh Township Historical Centre and St. Paul’s Schoolhouse maintenance.

St. Nicholas Catholic Church will be holding a designer purse bingo April 19 at Diamond Fire Company’s hall, 110 Main St., Walnutport. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo starts 1 p.m.

Come out and play for a chance to win items by Coach, Dooney and Bourke, Kate Spade, Michael Kors and Vera Bradley. There will also be a basket raffle and bake sale.

Parking is available in the lot across Main Street.
