Kermit L. Link

of Emmaus

Kermit L. Link, 97, of Emmaus, died Feb. 7, 2026, in Phoebe Home. He was the husband of the late Dolores R. (Hilbert) Link. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lizzie (Albitz) Link.

He worked as a cabinet maker for Allen Organ for 40 years, retiring in 1994. He later enjoyed driving for Lexus of Allentown for 15 years.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Union Church, Macungie.

In his younger years, he played baseball in the 1940s for the Emmaus A.C. and he remained an avid sports enthusiast throughout his life, proudly cheering on Philadelphia teams. He also enjoyed trap shooting with the Lehigh Valley Trap Shooting League and he found great joy in hunting, fishing, gardening, spending time appreciating wildlife and German music.

He is survived by his son, Glenn R. and his wife, Penny; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; step-great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his stepbrother, Kenneth Sr. and longtime companion, Dorothy Freyman.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 13 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
