Joan M. McCloskey, 80, of Salisbury Township and previously of Millington, N.J., died Feb. 2, 2026, in Country Meadows of Bethlehem Township. Born in Westfield, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Wilbur and Jean (Millington) Hamm.

She was a graduate of Westfield High School.

She enjoyed working as a purchasing agent at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, N.J., for many years until her retirement.

She was a member of the Meyersville Presbyterian Church in Gillette, N.J. While living in New Jersey, she owned a small farmette and many horses, which she tended to with great care.

She was also a proud member of the environmental advisory committee.

She is survived by cousins and their families, including, Donald B. Brinton and his wife, Debbie, of Allentown; dear friends, Jim, Michelle and Jamianne Kelly, of New Jersey; other extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Hamm.

There will be a private burial of her urn at Schuylkill Memorial Park in Schuylkill Haven in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
