LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

STUDENT PROFILE

Grade: 12th

Family: My mom, my brothers, (Cohen 11, Hayden 10)

Favorite subject(s): Music related classes. I love the creative aspect, something that most classes don’t have. The music program at Liberty is vast, but tight knit enough where you know the teachers well and get a better experience overall.

Activities: I am involved in Liberty Choir and the advanced ensemble Acapella. My main focus is Liberty Jams, which I am a part of the leadership team and a singer.

Next steps: I plan on going to college and majoring in music business.

Career goals: I would like to become a manager in some capacity within the music industry, whether that’s an artist manager or working within a record label.

Heroes : I’ve always looked up to Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance. He took an awful and traumatic situation and made something special and impactful. He created the band in 2001 to cope and ended up saving and inspiring millions. The band was there for him in his hardest time, and the band was there in mine. I want to manage a band with similar motives and help others the way he did.

Hobbies: I enjoy singing and playing guitar, listening to music, playing video games and doing cross stitch and embroidery.

Current job(s): I currently work at Little Caesars in Bethlehem. I work as a general team member, helping out wherever needed that day.

Volunteer/community work: I volunteer helping with set-up for music events whenever I can.

Likes: I love performing and spending time with my friends and family. I also love Philly sports, especially football, and plan on going to school in Philadelphia.

Dislikes: I dislike being unproductive. I always need to be working on something, whether it has a due date or not. I can’t play video games without a clear objective. I can’t start something that I gives me no gain.

Greatest accomplishment (so far): Preforming in Musikfest. It was a bucket list item of mine for a long time and really lived up to the hype. I had people coming up to me saying how amazing we were, and it felt amazing.

Advice for peers: Don’t overthink everything; just audition for that group! Join that club! Don’t let your fear get the best of you and just go out and try. You never know what you might find, people you might meet, experiences you gain, if you just go out and try something new.
