Louis M. Bove Jr., 76, of Bethlehem Township, died Jan. 23, 2026. He was born on February 12, 1949, in Bethlehem, the son of the late Louis M. Bove Sr. and Anna (DelRe) Bove. He was the husband of 53 years to his wife, Janet Marie (Olshefski) Bove.

A graduate of Liberty HS class of 1968, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Since his days in the military, he had an appreciation for repairing vehicles and used his talents as a mechanic for many years before later serving as a service writer for Penske Auto.

He was an umpire and volunteer with North Central Little League and outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; son, Scott Bove and son-in-law, Bobby, and Chris Bove and daughter-in-law, Yadira, as well as grandson, Anthony Bove; and Yadira’s children and grandchildren, Julissa, Daniel, and Jerelynne Medina; and Kayden and Judah Colon; extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Bove.
