Volunteers at the Schnecksville Fire Company will be cooking up an all-you-can-eat buffet-style breakfast 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 22.
The massive snowfall on Jan. 25 forces cancellation of that scheduled breakfast. Fire company personnel could cancel meat orders ahead of the event but were responsible to take the vacuum-packed potatoes that were ordered. Two volunteers turned those potatoes into Pennsylvania Dutch-style potato filling which they were able to sell at other events in the hall to benefit the fire company.
