George S. Mourani, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 29, 2026. He was born in Abba, Lebanon. He was the son of Saad Mourani and Anita (Moussa) Mourani and the husband of Janet E. (Fillman) Mourani for 47 years.

He served in the Army in Lebanese Army before moving to the United States.

After earning his associate’s degree, George embarked on a career at Bethlehem Steel Corp. steelworker for 34 years before retiring in 1996. He was a dedicated member of St. Joachim and Anne Maronite Mission Church in Allentown, where he found spiritual solace and a sense of belonging.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons; Daniel, Andre, Pierre, Elias and David Mourani and their spouses: Crystal, Nicole, Karolin and Cassidy; 12 grandchildren: Aundrea, Lucas, Maison, Peyton, Grayson, Layla, Noah, Lillie, Sadie, Addalyn, Tatum and Adrianna; and siblings Sadie Elias, Badiha Rizk, John Mourani and Elias Mourani.

He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Najib Mourani and Dlilah Mourani.
