Royal Tea rescheduled to March 14

Despite several snow days, delays and cold winter temperatures, Allentown Central Catholic High School has remained busy, energized and united as a community.

From Jan. 22-24, ACCHS cohosted the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 10 Orchestra Festival alongside Bethlehem Catholic High School for the first time since the 1970s. The festival brought together 115 talented musicians from seven counties and 29 high schools. ACCHS student Michael Rofaiel earned a spot in the orchestra as a viola player. Under the direction of John Kilkenny, the orchestra performed a dynamic program, showcasing the musicians’ excellence and skills,

The swim and dive team celebrated its senior night Jan. 20, honoring its seniors for years of commitment and dedication.

The cheerleading program and girls basketball team also recognized seniors during senior night Jan. 30.

Beyond academics and athletics, ACCHS has continued to grow spiritually with the completion of a new permanent confessional in the school chapel. The confessional provides students with a peaceful place to encounter Christ through the sacrament of reconciliation.

The ACCHS boys lacrosse sweater fundraiser is open through Feb. 13. There are two styles available – a cream and green Vikings cardigan and a grey and white Vikings pullover.
