St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., is planning to hold its next parish buffet 8:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 8 in the parish hall. Come fill up on all your favorites of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, French toast sticks, Danish, juice and coffee.

Children ages 10 and under eat for free.

All are welcome.

St. Elizabeth’s will be having Ash Wednesday services Feb. 18. Mass will be held 9 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., all with distribution of ashes.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., is hosting the Lehigh Valley American Guild of Organists workshop Feb. 21, led by Dr. Derrick Thompson, director of choral studies at Kutztown University. The workshop — teaching choral technique through spirituals and Gospel — will take place in the church sanctuary 9 a.m.-noon.

Anyone with an interest in African-American music, choral singing, and/or choral conducting is welcome to attend. Refreshments, tea and coffee will be available in the church social hall.

The church parking lot is located between Quarry and Cherry streets, and the handicap entrance into the building is on Cherry Alley.

St. Elizabeth’s will once again be having sign-ups for the next low-impact aerobics classes to be held in the parish hall. Karen Hoff is the instructor.

Beginner’s low-impact aerobic classes will be held 5:30-6 p.m. for eight weeks Feb. 24-April 14. Registration is required.

Low-impact aerobic classes will be offered 6:15-7 p.m. for 10 weeks Feb. 21-April 28. Registration is required.
