Tepes earns degree

James Madison University
Szulborski named to dean’s list
Bath resident Eliana Szulborski has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the fall 2025 semester. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Szulborski is working toward in Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
Founded in 1908, James Madison University is a public university located in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Hofstra University
DiOdoardo earns dean’s list
Anthony DiOdoardo, of Bath, excelled during the fall 2025 semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the dean’s list. DiOdoardo’s major is mechanical engineering.

Bucknell University
Dean’s list is announced
Bucknell University congratulates Landon Caley, of Northampton, on being named to the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year. Caley is a member of the Class of 2028, majoring in mechanical engineering.
A student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.
McDaniel College
Strohl named to dean’s list
Kohler Strohl, of Northampton, has been recognized for outstanding achievement by being named to the McDaniel College fall 2025 dean’s list with honors. Highest honors are earned for a semester GPA of 3.9 or higher, high honors for a GPA of 3.7-3.89 and honors for a 3.5-3.69 GPA.
McDaniel College, founded in 1867, is a four-year, independent college of the liberal arts and sciences offering over 100 undergraduate and graduate programs. One of the original “Colleges That Change Lives,” McDaniel emphasizes experiential learning and student-faculty collaboration to develop the unique potential in every student. Represented by the Green Terror, more than 20 athletic teams compete in the NCAA Division III Centennial Conference. A student-centered community of 1,600 undergraduates and 1,400 graduate students offers access to both Baltimore and Washington, D.C., plus a European campus in Budapest, Hungary.

The dean’s list, prepared at the end of each semester, recognizes those students who have achieved academic distinction. Frostburg State University
Saul earns dean’s list
Brooke Saul, of Northampton, has been named to the dean’s list at Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Md., for outstanding academic achievement for the fall 2025 semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester GPA of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.
Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, Frostburg State University is one of the 12 institutions of the University System of Maryland. FSU is a comprehensive, residential regional university and serves as an educational and cultural center for western Maryland.
Midwestern State University
Sallit graduates
Elizabeth Ann Sallit, of Whitehall, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care in respiratory care from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, in fall 2025. Midwestern State University had 485 undergraduate and graduate students in fall 2025 with the provision they meet all requirements as prescribed by the faculty and administration. Honor requirements are a GPA of 3.9-4.0 for summa cum laude.
