LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

FROM FRIENDS OF THE PRESS Compiled by Eric Seither

The Crone family never misses an opportunity to get outside and play in the snow. Whether cleaning up using their shovels and plowing, or riding around on four-wheelers and sledding, Jeremy, Ty, Sheena, TJ, and beloved family dog, Daisy, love the energy and excitement that comes with a snow day.
Even though the snow was light and powdery, Cole S. was able to build a one-person snow fort. He dug it into the side of a snow bank and built it to fit perfectly inside. He even had some room to spare.
This is the deepest snow little Kelso D. has played in so far. The temperature didn’t bother him too much thanks to his parents. They made sure he was bundled up and toasty warm while safe from the cold and wind so he’d enjoy the snowy experience.
After helping to clear paths, Ryland P. and his dog Theo enjoyed some play time in the fluffy snow. They rolled, burrowed, and hopped around being silly, both equally excited for so much snow to enjoy.
Making tracks in the snow, Terry Stopp went snowmobiling with daughters Ava and Harmony in Weisenberg. They embraced the cold and turned the winter storm into a family adventure while riding through permitted fields. One more snow photo on A12.
Turning a snow day into a workday, first grader Lucas S. happily lends a hand shoveling alongside his dad, Eddie, at Sawyer’s Automotive in Wanamakers. Through teamwork, they ensured paths and parking lots were clear, and the shop was safely accessible.
Fresh snow means fresh fun for Charlotte P. and her family. They made the first set of tracks along Leaser Lake’s West Shore during Sunday’s storm.
