Florence A. Basile, 94, of Emmaus, died Jan. 30, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Joseph Basile. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Elizabeth F. (Davison) Simon.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Allentown.

She was employed as a secretary at Mack Trucks for 25 years until retiring.

She and her husband enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time at the seashore.

She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth A. Sugden; stepson, Michael and his wife, Lisa; granddaughters, Gina Assante and her husband, Giulio, Cara; step-great-granddaughter, Chiara.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Dasconio.

A visitation will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 5 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. A Requiem Mass will follow noon at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 2510 Livingston St., Allentown, 18104.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to the church.
