BETHLEHEM AREA SD

SPECIAL MEETING: (Tentative). Preliminary Budget Adoption, Board Finance & Human Resources Committee Meetings in the Education Center. Feb. 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

OPEN HOUSE: Freedom HS for incoming 9th graders. Feb. 11 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

PRESIDENTS DAY: All schools closed Feb. 13 & 16.

STEM COMPETITION: Two teams from East Hill MS placed in the CIU 20 Regional Keystone STEM Competition, earning both 1st place & 2nd place.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Hayden Taylor is a two time District XI 3A Diving Champion, and 2nd place at the 2025 State Diving Championships. Hayden is a former gymnast who began diving after injuries ended her gymnastics career.

REGISTRATION OPEN: Kindergarten and pre-K help build strong learning foundations while welcoming children into a supportive, inclusive school community.

BASKETBALL NIGHT: Middle school Basketball Night. Come support our student-athletes and show your school spirit! Feb. 3. East Hills and Broughal play at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Northeast and Nitschmann play at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

BAND CONCERT: The BASD All City Middle School Band Concert takes place at Northeast MS Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at Northeast MS. Enjoy an evening of student performances.

REPORT CARDS: Second quarter report cards were posted for families Feb. 4.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS: Basketball. Feb. 4 at 730 a.m. in the Freedom HS Gymnasium.

CERTIFICATION: Sharon Kritzberger, Early Childhood director, recently received additional certification in Leadership for Early Childhood.

EARLY DECISION: Senior Nikolaus Kasper is headed to Liberty University. Angelina Hernandez will be attending Millersville University.
