Crash
A Massachusetts motorist escaped injury when the steering suspension mechanism of his pickup truck snapped while he was traveling along Interstate 78 near mile marker 59.1, Salisbury Township, 1:02 p.m. Oct. 5, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The pickup truck was westbound when the left front suspension broke “pulling the vehicle left into the concrete median,” according to authorities. Getz Towing also responded.
Drug possession
A 28-year-old male, of Whitehall, was taken into custody for allegedly having drugs in a vehicle at a traffic stop in the area of Bishop Road and Barnsdale Road, Salisbury Township, 2:19 a.m. Dec. 6, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
DUI
A 74-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Fish Hatchery Road, Salisbury Township, 11:52 p.m. Oct. 24, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Possession with intent to deliver
A 47-year-old male, of Garfield, N.J., was found to have alleged controlled substances in a vehicle search during a traffic stop along Interstate 78 West, Salisbury Township, 1:14 a.m. Dec. 31, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
