DUI

A 23-year-old female, of Whitehall, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along East Main Street in Emmaus borough 2:25 a.m. Jan. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 44-year-old male, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along South Second Street in Emmaus borough 2:35 a.m. Dec. 12, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 77-year-old male, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along South Second Street in Emmaus borough 10:34 p.m. Oct. 17, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI crash

A 69-year-old motorist, of Macungie, was allegedly driving under the influence when he crashed into a tree in the area of Willow Lane and state Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, 7:19 p.m. Jan. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was injured in the crash, according to authorities.

Assault of a law

enforcement officer causing bodily injury

A 38-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for assault after he allegedly bit a Pennsylvania State Trooper who responded to the 4300 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, for a disorderly person refusing to leave a business 12:21 a.m. Jan. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The man allegedly refused to cooperate and the bite left a mark on the trooper’s right arm, according to authorities.

Burglary

A 41-year-old female, of Macungie, was arrested after she allegedly entered a residence along Somerset Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 2:40 a.m. Dec. 26, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Someone entered a residence along Celia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 12, 2025.

Someone entered a location along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 31, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal mischief

Someone broke a glass window in the front door of a residence in the 2800 block Aronimink Place, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 19, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Damage was estimated at $300.

A car window was smashed with a hammer in the parking lot of Mack Trucks, 7000 Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 7:08 a.m. Dec. 13, 2025, according to authorities.

Harassment

A 65-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested after he allegedly harassed employees at retailer Home Depot, 5877 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 3:56 p.m. Jan. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male had previously received a notice from the retailer prohibiting him from entering the store or contacting the store, according to authorities.

A 51-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged with harassment for allegedly sending threatening text messages, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 25, 2025, at a location along Brunswick Lane, Lower Macungie Township.

An argument turned into a shoving match that ended with a punch to the face in a parking lot at retailer Aldi, 950 Mill Creek Road, Suite A, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 26, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Scam

Someone convinced a resident of Strathmore Drive, Lower Macungie Township, to transfer $5,000 to them through Bitcoin digital currency, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 25, 2025.
