Simple assault
A 37-year-old male, of the 1600 block of Hillcrest Avenue, was arrested Jan. 18 and charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck and injured another person during a domestic disturbance, according to Salisbury police.
Harassment
A 37-year-old male, of Sour Apple Lane, was taken into custody and charged Jan. 14 with harassment and misdemeanor disorderly conduct after he allegedly harassed staff at District Court 31-1-08 in Salisbury Township, according to Salisbury police.
Retail theft
Someone removed $65 worth of merchandise from retailer Burlington, 3300 Lehigh St., Jan. 13, according to Salisbury police. Store employees reported the incident to police Jan. 14.
Theft
A resident of the 2200 block of Lehigh Parkway North learned someone used their American Airlines credit card account for unauthorized purchases, according to Salisbury police. The resident reported the incident Jan. 17.
DUI
A 25-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested Jan. 18 for allegedly driving under the influence, driving with a suspended driver’s license, not wearing a seat belt and violation of obedience to traffic control devices after a traffic stop in the 600 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.
Vehicle theft
A resident of South 25th Street discovered his 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV was missing, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Jan. 20.
Attempted theft from vehicle
Salisbury officers responded to Harriet Avenue at Linda Lane about an individual on foot allegedly looking into parked vehicles, according to Salisbury police. Officers checked the area but did not locate anyone. Authorities remind all township residents to keep their vehicle doors locked.
Disturbance
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1100 block of Maumee Avenue Jan. 17, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers responded to Eaton Street for a disturbance Jan. 19, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1250 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., for a disturbance Jan. 21, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Violations approved
Between Jan. 14 and 21 a total of three school bus video violations were approved bringing this school year’s total to 167 approved violations.
