Emmaus Rotary club to host Valentine dance Feb. 15

The Emmaus Rotary Club is hosting an event Feb. 4 titled “Rotary Means Business: The Future of the Lehigh Valley Workforce.”
The event will take place 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Emmaus Public Library, 11 E. Main St.
There will be an expert panel discussion, the opportunity to share business ideas and networking, meet local Rotarians and enjoy light refreshments.
The event is free and all are welcome.
The Emmaus Historical Society will participate for the first time in the 2026 Soup Crawl. Sponsored by the Emmaus Main Street Partners, the event will be Feb. 7 and you can secure tickets by accessing https://web.lehighvalleychamber.org.
Also Feb. 7, the Emmaus Public Library will celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day with a matinee showing of “Mulan.”
The week following, come to the Emmaus Historical Society and Museum 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 14 when the new display is unveiled, revealing a visiting collection of vintage Valentines. Meet the owner of this precious collection, Katrina Wieand, as she shares the history and stories behind many of these treasures.
The Emmaus Rotary Club will host a fundraiser to benefit the East Penn Food Coalition and its food packaging program. The club’s “Over the Moon Valentine’s Dance” will be 3 to 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at Triple Sun Spirits, 518 Bank St. There will be live music by Stacy Gabel, a basket raffle fundraiser, a professional dance instructor and more. Emmaus Borough offices will be closed in observance of the Presidents Day holiday Feb. 16. On the same day and in celebration of Presidents Day, the Emmaus Public Library will host a scavenger hunt where kids can find all 47 presidents and respective facts throughout the library.
The Emmaus Historical Society will a hold a membership meeting/program 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at St. John’s Lutheran Church Parish Hall, 501 Chestnut St. The program is titled “The Allentown Fairgrounds, History and Current Day Happenings” and is presented by Kellie Butterbaugh (author) and Daryl Urmy (Lehigh County Agricultural Society President).
Lower Lehigh AARP will meet noon Feb. 5 in the lower level of Macungie Memorial Hall at Macungie Memorial Park. New members are welcome. The next meeting will be March 5. For more information, contact Dot at 610-967-3284.

The Emmaus Garden Club will soon provide an updated 2026 events, club meetings and programs calendar on the website at https://emmausgardenclub.com. The first bus trip of the year will occur March 2 to the Philadelphia Flower Show.
The Emmaus Historical Society’s fundraising committee has already planned an afternoon of Lucky Bucks Bingo for March 15. Tickets are on sale online at lehighvalleycham-ber.org/events or at the Emmaus Historical Society. Tickets sell out fast, so get your tickets now!
Bus trips for the Emmaus Historical Society are scheduled and you can call Nancy at 610-967-5715 for more information and to register. The next trip is to the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater April 15 at Mount Hope Winery. The deadline is Feb. 1 and payment is due by that date.
