On Dec. 14, 2025, Allentown police were contacted about an investigation into damage at the holiday light display Lights in the Parkway located near the Robinhood Bridge.
The vandalism left extensive damage to multiple light display fixtures that included bent light poles and posts, crushed light bulbs and a portable restroom pushed into the Little Lehigh Creek.
The estimated loss was later documented at approximately $46,512.
The investigation, which included interviews and video surveillance, revealed Weaver and the three juveniles allegedly were involved in the vandalism,
This case was investigated by Allentown Police Detective Ariel Vidal and will be prosecuted by Chief Deputy District Attorney Gregory R. Englert.
As in every criminal case, the fact that arrests have occurred or complaints have been filed are merely accusations and the accused, Weaver and three juveniles, are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
