Pauline D. Stopper, 75, of Schnecksville, died Jan. 23, 2026. She was the lifelong companion of Lee A. Schaeffer, of Mertztown. Born in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Verna Frances (Reidy) Stopper.

A graduate of Bloomsburg University, she was employed as a speech therapist at Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 in Schnecksville and Northwestern Lehigh School District for 42 years before retiring.

She enjoyed many outdoor activities including gardening and sailing. She was an avid skier and was a member of the Blue Mountain National Ski Patrol for 30 years.

In addition to her companion, she is survived by sisters, Sister Verna Marie, Sister Mary Clare, Antonette Herrick (Weston), Frances R. Kubick, Barbara Estabrook (Bart), Lorraine M., Audrey Hoffman (Gerald), Cecelia Frey (James); brother, Charles (Sue).

She was predeceased by siblings, Bernard A., Mary Jo Cillo, David.
