Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

DEC. 21

Traffic stops were conducted at East 13th Street and Laubach Avenue, at East 10th Street and Washington Avenue, at Canal and West 14th streets and at Canal and West 10th streets.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 600 block of Walker Drive.

A report of suspicious activity in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue was investigated.

A hit and run occurred in the 200 block of West 27th Street. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side mirror. The offending vehicle was located by officers.

On Smith Lane, a report of an unwanted female had officers investigating.

Police assisted Coplay officers in the unit block of North Ninth Street, Coplay.

DEC. 22

A juvenile problem in the unit block of West 21st Street was investigated.

A report of a hit and run in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue was investigated. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side rear fender and bumper.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 600 block of East 10th Street, at Main and East 24th streets and in the 100 block of Main Street.

Reported disturbances were addressed in the 300 block of East 12th Street and the unit block of East 13th Street.

Police assisted females in the 400 block of East Ninth Street and at West 22nd and Main streets.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 1400 block of Dewey Avenue.

DEC. 23

Police assisted a male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and a female at East Fourth Street and Howertown Road.

Traffic stops were conducted at Main and East Second streets and at Horwith Drive and Hollow Lane.

A civil matter in the 600 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Officers checked the area in the 200 block of East Second Street.

DEC. 24

A reported disturbance in the 1300 block of Stewart Street was addressed.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue and on males in the 1500 block of Laubach Avenue and the 600 block of East 21st Street.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of East 21st Street.

The department investigated a report of hit and run in the 100 block of Frank Drive. The driver-side mirror of a legally parked vehicle was damaged by a gray minivan that left the scene.

DEC. 25

On Smith Lane, police responded to a report of a civil issue.

Harassment in the 600 block of East 20th Street was reported.

A reported disturbance in the 1300 block of Stewart Street was addressed.

Officers assisted a male in the 1900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

A report of fraud in the 100 block of East Second Street was investigated.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 2000 block of Washington Avenue.

A report of fraud in the 1900 block of Lincoln Avenue was investigated.

Traffic stops were conducted at Siegfried Avenue and Station Alley, Washington Avenue and East 21st Street, East 21st Street and Lincoln Avenue, Newport Avenue and Lumber Street, in the 300 block of East 21st Street, at East 13th Street and Washington Avenue and in the 500 block of Main Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 1800 block of Hokendauqua Avenue.

Police assisted a female in the 2000 block of Main Street.

DEC. 28

A complaint of a loud party in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue was handled.

In the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue, a report of barking dogs brought out police.

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of East 21st Street, at East 21st and Canal streets, East First and Main streets and in the 100 block of East Fourth Street.

Police checked on the welfare of males in the 1400 block of Railroad Street and the 600 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1900 block of Center Street and the 900 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and a male in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

The department received a request to check the area at Main Street and Laubach Avenue.
