Northampton Area School District’s community education winter session classes will be starting soon.

Water aerobics with Susan Roberts is a low-impact workout that is kind to your joints. The instructor will explain all the exercises and utilize noodles, water dumbbells and water belts to get a total body workout.

The classes will run 7:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Feb. 3-March 12 in the Northampton Area Middle School natatorium. Note the time change. Makeup dates are March 17 and 19.

Dance It Out with Jennifer Stoudt is a fun, high-energy low/high impact, cardio and strength workout. All fitness levels are welcome. Bring water and optional 1- to 3-pound dumbbells.

The classes are set for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays Feb. 2-15 in the Siegfried Elementary School multipurpose room, 1677 Lincoln Ave. The makeup date is March 4.

Register at nasdschools.org. Participants do not need to be NASD residents but must be at least 15 years old.
