This week in the Dart League we find a tie for 1st place with Dryland and Star of Bethlehem. It was Dryland sweeping Blessed Trinity 10-4, 5-0, and 11-4. Leading hitters for Dryland included Earl Sigley 8-13, Butch Silfies 7-14, Bernie Yurko 6-14 with HRs from Dennis Skelton (2), Dave Kolman and Nate Phares. Mike Daly was 7-11, Chuck Crisafi 7-13, Andy Mickelson 3-9 and Todd Jones with a HR for Blessed Trinity.
Star of Bethlehem swept Emmanuel by scores of 5-3, 4-0, and 10-5. Top hitters for Star of Bethlehem were Scott Hoffert 6-9, Bill Hoke Jr. 5-9 (3 HRs), Bryan Frankenfield 5-12 and Kyle Taylor 5-13. For Emmanuel, Tom Dormedia was 6-11, Jim Hill 5-11 and Jon Rice 5-14
Ebenezer sandwiched 8-4 and 2-0 wins around a 4-2 loss to St. Paul’s. Leading the way for Ebenezer was Tori Eppright 4-8, Paul Yoder 4-12, John Costanzo 3-6 (HR), Dan Prestosh 2-3 with HRs from Tim Prestosh (2) and Brendan Belvins. Roger Kern was 5-11, Jason Gross 5-12 and Jennifer Erkinger for St. Paul’s.
The final match of the night saw Farmersville sandwiching 4-1 and 6-2 wins around a 7-4 loss to Christ UCC. Dan Halteman was 6-12 to lead the Farmersville hitters with Tom George going 6-13 (HR), Mark Steigerwalt 4-13 with Gene Grim, Jason Steigerwalt and Dave Campbell each adding a HR. For Christ UCC, A.J. Renn was 5-13, Garry Hunsicker also 5-13 and Steve Hunsicker 4-13.

Star of Bethlehem moves into sole possession of 1st place with a sweep of Blessed Trinity by scores of 4-2, 7-6, and 10-2. Leading the Star of Bethlehem hitters included Bryan Frankenfield 8-14, Kyle Taylor 7-14 (HR), Brenna Frankenfield and Walt Hoffert 5-11 each, Scott Hoffert 5-14. For Blessed Trinity, Norm Schoenberger was 5-12 (2 HRs) and HRs from Tim Heidelmark, Mike Daly and Ken Remaly.
Dryland drops into 2nd place, sandwiching 8-1 and 7-1 wins around a 3-0 loss to Farmersville. Top hitters for Dryland were Butch Silfies 6-12, Karen Krome 5-11, Larry Golick 5-14, with Bernie Yurko and Dave Crouthamel each going 4-12. Mark Steigerwalt was 6-13, and Kyle Campbel l 4-11 for Farmersville.
After a 11-10 loss to Emmanuel, St. Paul’s came back to win 5-0 and 4-0. Leading the way for St. Paul’s were Roger Kern 6-13, Jason Gross 5-10, Rich Kern 5-13, Paul Slimmon 5-14 (HR), with HRs from Brian Gross, Alex Gross and Liz Kern. The only hitter for Emmanuel was Tom Dormedia going 6-11.
Christ UCC sandwiched 2-1 and 7-3 wins around a 6-0 loss to Ebenezer. Leading hitters for Christ UCC were Eric Locum 6-11 (cycle for the night), Garry Hun sicker 5-13, Steve Hunsicker 4-13 and George Gasper with a HR.
