The gymnasium at Springhouse Middle School was the location for this year’s History Day presentations by 60 middle school students, Jan. 14.
Many of the presentations used traditional table mounted exhibits while some were done documentary style using laptop computers to present videos.
The emphasis was on significant historical events ranging from as far back as the 18th century to modern times.
The exhibits and documentaries all exhibited a degree of maturity in their content, reflecting on the students understanding of the importance of history and how it impacts the present.
