Concordia Lutheran Church will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser with seatings 4:30-6:30 p.m. Feb. 6. We said goodbye to our beloved crazy Daisy last week. She overcame her sarcoma and amputation with the spirit of a warrior! She was fiercely independent, always preferring to solve her problems than rely on help, but incredibly gentle as well, never growling or snapping at anyone. But, in the end, the tumors on her lung were too much for her.

As I watch the snow blanket the ground, I remember how much she loved to zoom around, plowing through banks of snow and then hunkering down in the snow for hours, refusing to come in.

Rest in peace, sweet girl.
