Catty Seniors Plus will be holding the first meeting of the new year Jan. 28 at Slovak Center Social Hall, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. Doors open noon, and the meeting starts 1 p.m.

Bingo will be played.

Note: Members will follow the school schedule if there is bad weather. Also, if the temperature is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, the group will not be meeting because of the cold.

Just a reminder that if you purchased tickets for Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church’s baked ham dinner, the event is scheduled for Jan. 24 at the church, 604 Fourth St.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding bingo Jan. 25, beginning 1 p.m. Doors open noon. Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc.

There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a donation of a nonperishable food item, pet food or paper product (facial tissues, paper towels or toilet paper) for Whitehall Food Pantry and receive a strip of specials to be played on the first four specials.
