Debra Beers, 69, of Emmaus, died peacefully Jan. 16, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Health Network — Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of James Beers, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Betty and the late Donald Ruth.

She held several roles throughout her life, but her favorite and most proud title was always, Gaga. She deeply loved her family and grandchildren who brought endless joy and smiles to her life.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by brother, Dennis and his wife, Audrey; daughter, Michelle and her husband, Mike; son, Allen and his wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, Cole, Ryley, Liam, Caleb, Jillian.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 22 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus, 18049. Viewings will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 and 10-11 a.m. Jan. 22 in the funeral home.

The family requests donations be made to the funeral home to establish a college education fund for her grandchildren.
