Carol L. Williamson, 82, of Lower Macungie Township and formerly of Allentown, died Jan. 14, 2026. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Ruth (Schell) Knappenberger.

She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, Class of 1961.

She was employed at JCPenney® for 26 years until her retirement.

She is survived by children, John E. Jr. (Kathy), Ronald (Sharon), Constance L. Bartos; stepchildren, Linda, Susan, Janice, Richard Hamm; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Sandy Ernst.

She was predeceased by her companion, Richard D. Hamm.
