Jefferson Health and the PGA TOUR Champions announced a five-year partnership to host a new professional golf tournament: The Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, to debut the week of Sept. 28 at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, is expected to provide a $50-million boost to the local economy. Proceeds benefit local charities, including Valley Youth House and Eagles Autism Foundation.
Jefferson and Lehigh Valley Health Network recognized the one-year anniversary of its landmark combination in August.

“NBC Nightly News” featured eight nurses who developed a bond as they navigated their pregnancies together. The Lehigh Valley Emergency Department float nurses were due within five months of each other. They shared experiences, advice and support for one another in a group chat, “Preggo Floats.” After everyone delivered, NBC anchor Hallie Jackson met the mothers and their babies on a group Zoom.
