William (Bill) L. Bohner, 85, of Lower Macungie Township, died at home, Jan. 1, 2026. He was born in Tremont, Schuylkill County, the son of the late Archie and Emma (Hoffman) Bohner. He was the husband of the late Kathleen (Shaner) Bohner for 61 years.

After graduating from Pottstown High School in 1958, he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from Lehigh University. He devoted more than 30 years to PPL in Allentown, serving as an engineer, project manager and director and later completed his career as an executive with Comcast/AT&T Wireless.

He was a longtime member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit in Emmaus.

He took pride in caring for his home and yard, but most of all he cherished spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sons, William L. Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Andrew and his wife, Joanne, John and his wife, Jaclyn; grandchildren, April, William III (Annie), Philip (Anneka), Emma, Andrew, Leah, Hayden, Sophie; great-grandchildren, Kegan, Katie, Desmond; sisters, Joan Wegman and Virginia Zeigler.
