Paul ‘Gus’ E. Geissinger Jr.
Paul “Gus” E. Geissinger Jr., 95, of Fullerton, died Jan. 8, 2026, while a guest at Heather Glen Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Arlene S. (Millham) Geissinger for 43 years.
Born in Hokendauqua, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Flora M. (McQuilken) Geissinger Sr.
He was a 1948 graduate of Whitehall High School.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy, attaining the rank of senior chief machinist mate.
A member of Carpenters Union 214, he was a skilled installer for Ted Smith Flooring of West Reading and Lehigh Tile and Marble in Allentown. Early in life he worked for the Zollinger-Harned Department Store in Allentown.
He was a lifelong member of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 115, serving as vice president for three years and president for nine years. He was a lifetime member of Jones-Quigg American Legion Post 739 in Hokendauqua.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton, where he served on the consistory, was ordained a deacon, was chairman of the Field of Dreams and property committees and assisted in the church office.
He enjoyed his memberships in the Whitehall Senior Citizens group serving as treasurer, Whitehall AARP and Our Lady Help of Christians Senior Citizens. He was a lifetime member of Fullerton Fire Company. He was a Helping Heart volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.
He is survived by three sons, Kerry P. with wife Linda (Newhart) of Schnecksville, Paul F. with wife Susan (Fisher) of Whitehall and Glenn A. with wife Julia of Plainfield Township; a daughter-in-law, Linda M. of Whitehall; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was predeceased by a son, Craig A.; and a sister, Lucille M. Hersh with husband Donald.
There will be a calling time 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m. Jan. 17 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall.
