Judith M. Dawson, 78, of Macungie, died peacefully Dec. 23, 2025, in her home. She was the wife of Edward J. Dawson. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael C. and Mary E. (Garis) Bobi.

She was a graduate of Kutztown University.

She worked as an accountant for Burlington Coat Factory for 28 years, retiring in 2019.

She loved to read, travel and watch her family play sports and perform. She had a kind, caring and gentle spirit but was also fierce and strong.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Christopher E. and his wife, Amy; daughter, Brooke and her husband, Toby Bauer; grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, Breeahna, Kala, Sarah, Donovan; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Evangeline; sister, Marianne and her husband, James Anderson.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Joseph and a great-granddaughter, Lillian.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling the arrangements.
