Dean William Dallmann
Dean William Dallmann, 74, of Macungie, died Dec. 30, 2025. He had battled a series of health issues over the last two years. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late William S. and Barbara C. Dallmann. He was the husband of Lynnette B. Dallmann for almost 50 years.
He graduated from The Phelps School in Malvern and went on to graduate from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, where he also played soccer.
His broadcast advertising career of 41 years included WMMR in Philadelphia, followed by WFMZ in Allentown.
He was a man of varied interests and hobbies including golf, scuba diving, church softball, snow and water skiing, boating and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles. He always enjoyed a good competition. His passion was turning wrenches on sports cars, hot rods and motorcycles.
He enjoyed Florida in the winter and traveling in his RVs. He collected antique clocks and designed original steam punk art. His primary interest was being a private pilot and later flying RC airplanes.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Faith A. (Dallmann) Towner (Brian), Todd W. (Lauren); grandchildren, Caleb and Boyd Towner; sister, Dianne D. Reich; nieces; nephews; friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Dana D. Anthony.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Bethany Church, 1208 Brookside Road, Allentown, 18106, 11:30 a.m. Jan. 17, with visitation hours 10-11:30 a.m. For those unable to attend, the service may be streamed at https://bethanychurchpa.com/.
