Bruce F. Balliet, 80, of Whitehall, died Jan. 1, 2026. He was the husband of the late Eileen Balliet.

He was the son of the late William Balliet and Esther (Frantz) Erdman.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he served aboard the USS Atakapa (ATF-149) during the Vietnam War, honorably completing two years of service.

He was survived by a daughter, Sheleen Moyer; two grandchildren, Kayleen Armellino and husband Andrew and Kolby Moyer; two great-grandchildren, Lucas Armellino and Autumn Armellino; a companion, Kathleen Gunther; a stepmother, Grace; a stepsister, LuAnn Donovan; and extended family.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Shannon; and a stepsister, Bonita Seko Schlabig.
