First sale of 2026 opens Jan. 28

Press photo by dana grubbThe Bethlehem Area Public Library’s first book sale of 2026 will take place at the Main Branch, 11 West Church Street, Wednesday, Jan. 28, from noon until 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A wide selection of used books, DVDs, CDs and records will be available for patrons to purchase. Book sale coordinator Laurel Stone reminds patrons that all adult hardcover books will now cost $2. Credit and debit cards are accepted. Above: Ray and Donna Becker from Bethlehem Township are regulars at the BAPL’s book sales. She collects books about Abraham Lincoln and has a bookcase full of them at home.
