Heidelberg Township Board of Supervisors held its annual reorganization meeting, Jan. 5 at the township building.
Jonathan Jakum, was named chairman of the board of supervisors with David Fink named vice chairman.
Prior to the reorganization meeting, Matthew Schneider, member, and the board’s new supervisor was sworn in, so he could participate in the meeting.
All township supervisors are part-time working roadmasters for 2026.
Dawn Didra was renamed township administrator/secretary, assistant treasurer, zoning officer, enforcement officer of all other ordinances, parking enforcement officer, floodplain manager, and emergency management coordinator.
Katie Fabian was also renamed as township treasurer and zoning and administrative assistant.
Additional staff appointments included Janice Meyers and Debra Grundstrom, both part-time office assistants for 16 hours per week, Kevin Huber, road superintendent, Daniel Watt, assistant road superintendent, Travis Moyer and Todd Reichard, road crew workers and Theresa Hadley, part-time road crew worker.
During the reorganization meeting, former supervisor Steve Bachman received a certificate of service from Jakum for his years of service to the township.
