Two 19-year-old females, of Allentown, were taken into custody for retail theft after they allegedly removed merchandise, valued at $417.80, from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 11, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Forgery
Two residents of Weilers Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned someone altered and cashed a check for $1,674, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 26, 2025.
Harassment
A 51-year-old male, of Whitehall, was arrested for allegedly violating an active Protection From Abuse order and engaging “in a physical altercation in which he struck another person” at a location on North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:47 p.m. Dec. 28, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Criminal mischief
Someone allegedly cut arborvitae trees, without the permission of the property owner, at a location along Church View Road, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 19, 2025.
Found property
A green tote containing tools was found in the area of Lower Macungie Road/Mill Race Road, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 1, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The tools were returned to the owner Dec. 20, 2025.
DUI crash
A 69-year-old motorist, of Coopersburg, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after he fled on foot from a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Church View Road and Dillingersville Road, Upper Milford Township, 6:30 a.m. Dec. 5, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. One person was slightly hurt in the crash. The motorist allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a vehicle traveling east on Church View Road. Authorities found the Coopersburg motorist walking away from the crash scene. The driver of the second vehicle had minor injuries. The passenger was not hurt. Emmaus Ambulance Corps also responded. Both vehicles were towed from the crash, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft
A 35-year-old male allegedly removed a gold necklace, valued at $4,000, from a residence along Church View Road, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The necklace belonged to the suspect’s roommate. The roommate found a pawn shop receipt for the necklace at the residence.
A resident of Pinewind Drive, Lower Macungie Township, discovered someone used a transit pass she left in a previously owned vehicle to pay tolls from approximately June 2025 to December 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The estimated total of the toll charges was $5,515, according to authorities.
DUI
A 30-year-old male, of Coopersburg, allegedly was driving under the influence in the area of the 100 block of Main Street in Emmaus borough 12:04 a.m. Nov. 27, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Hit and run
Someone crashed into a property in the 3900 block of Dillingersville Road, Lower Milford Township, sometime between 8:30 and 11:20 a.m. Dec. 27, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The crash left miscellaneous car parts scattered at the property leading authorities to speculate the vehicle was likely silver.
Crashes
An Alburtis motorist escaped injury when his vehicle crashed into a utility pole in the area of Kings Highway and East Macungie Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:51 p.m. Nov. 25, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was traveling north and lost control on a left curve.
A New York motorist escaped injury when his vehicle struck a downed tree along Main Road West, Upper Milford Township, 7:13 a.m. Dec. 19, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was traveling east at the time of the crash.
A Philadelphia motorist was unhurt when his vehicle crashed into a cornfield along Spinnerstown Road, Lower Milford Township, 9:47 a.m. Dec. 10, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist said an animal ran into the road and he went off the left side of the road to avoid the animal. The vehicle was towed from the crash, according to authorities.
