Joseph R. Nickles, 79, of Bethlehem, died Dec. 25, 2025, at his residence. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Frank J. Nickles and Rachel A. (Orlando) Kukor. He was the husband of the late Agnes M. (Wechsler) Nickles.

He worked for many years with Bethlehem Fabricators.

He was a member of Shopmen Ironworkers Local Union No. 502. He later continued working with ABM Industries.

He was a parishioner of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

He is survived by a brother, Edward Nickles and his wife Mary Ann; a sister, Christina P. Griffiths; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased his stepfather, Julius Kukor; and two brothers, Rudolph R. Nickles and his wife Anna and Frank J. Nickles and his wife Barbara.
