Gordon S. Coffin Jr., 83, died Dec. 23, 2025. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Gordon S. Coffin Sr. and Marion P. (Hartzell) Coffin. He was the husband of Joanne C. (Robinson) Coffin for 63 years.

He was a Liberty HS graduate.

He worked at Lucent Tech for 30 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Renee A. Garrison and Rhonda S. (Alessio); three siblings: Brenda D. Schafer, Rodney D. Coffin (Leona) and Lanny L. Coffin Sr. (Helen); seven grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Bruce Coffin; a son-in-law, Myles Garrison; a brother: Terry A. Coffin Sr.; a sister-in-law, Donna Coffin.

Contributions may be made Gordon’s name to an animal rescue of one’s choice.
