The Parkland swimming and diving teams both had stellar seasons last year. The Trojans captured boys and girls District 11 titles, with the boys team winning its second straight district crown and the girls program extending a streak of five district championships. Both teams went unbeaten.
This year’s Trojan girls team returns several swimmers who have experienced success at the district and state level the past few seasons, including seniors Milla Hahn, Kelsey McPeek, Taylor Coombe, Ella Rafeld and diver Johanna Cook; juniors Sydney LaBaugh, Samantha Schultz (diver), Mariya Young (diver) and Addison Dietrich (diver); and sophomores Baylee Kish, Farrah Hahn, Mazie Fleischaker and Kenzi Schultz.
Freshman Victoria Tewksbury is also expected to help the team this season.
On the boys team, Parkland returns senior Thomas Price; juniors Ethan Coleman, Quinn Conway, Dominic Faenza, Jacob Piccini, Luke Stahley, Brandon Stout, Brady Willard and Charlie Epstein (diver); and sophomores James Chu and Wyatt Sullivan. Freshmen Jaiden Gerber-Mehta and Dominic Yeager will also contribute for the Trojans in the 2025-26 season.
“Our goal this year, for both teams,” said head coach Allie McPeek, “is to have as many athletes as possible make the district team, defend our district titles for both the boys and girls teams and to have as many athletes as possible on our state meet roster.”
