PHS indoor T&F team competes at Icebreaker

Parkland athletes competed in an indoor track and field meet on Dec. 7 at Ursinus College in Collegeville

The Trojans had two first-place finishers at the meet at Lincoln Clark took first place in the 200-meter dash in 22.74 and the PHS boys distance medley relay team won its event in 10:59.36. Relay team members were Luke McEvoy, Logan McEvoy, Marcelo Castilla and Colin McGuigan.

Second-place Trojan finishers at the meet were Radnow Rowlands (200), Kaley Seide (long jump), Exzavier Seide (triple jump) and the boys 4x800 relay (Jimmy Huff, Jaiden Zabler, Jaden Quintana, Angel Chamorro-Melendez).

Finishing third for Parkland at the Ursinus Icebreaker were Nmeli Onwuzo (60) and Aubrey Delong (shot put). Two Trojan relay teams finished fourth at the meet, including the girls distance medley (Emma Carlson, Emily Laputka, Violet Forte, Harshita Keerthi) and the boys 4x400 (John Rossi, Nate Powers, Hayden Karrat, Cole Millhouse).

Parkland’s fifth-place finishers at the meet included Ana Gbur (60), Morgan Anthony (high jump), girls 4x800 relay (Marley Boyle, Leah Frew, Julie Varano, Megsan Tarantino) and the girls 4x400 relay (Lilah Wynder, Lorelei Sullivan, Maya Respeto, Laura Shellhamer).
